Jamie McElroy joined Jung Tile & Granite in January 2008 as the Residential Marketing Consultant. Jamie brings 25 years of customer service and retail experience to the team. She works closely with area builders on new homes as well as residential remodel projects. You’ll find Jamie in the showroom helping customers make selections for their homes. She finds it exciting to see a look come to life when coordinating tile, natural stone and decorative pieces. Jamie also enjoys educating customers on the products they are selecting. If she doesn’t have the answer for you, she’ll get it!

Michelle Lara has been with Jung Tile for 12 years. As their Residential Estimator, Michelle is a whiz with a tape measure and she knows what it takes to get a job done! She capably answers questions pertaining to installation and it’s Michelle who prepares our turnkey, start-to-finish installation proposals. Michelle coordinates every aspect of your tile job to ensure that the end product meets your expectations. She loves getting to see beautiful homes and is amazed at the creativity of folks. She brings lots of decorating ideas back to the showroom!

Janie Gamez is Jung Tile’s Showroom Consultant. Her 10 years with Jung Tile make her just the person to field your tile questions. Janie’s friendly voice is usually the one that greets you over the phone. She is up to date on the most current tile series, and very knowledgeable about installation and maintenance products. She will point you in the right direction while you browse through the many samples of tile, trims, decorative borders, accents, and natural stone displayed in our showroom. Janie’s always willing to assist customers with their design options and she truly enjoys providing personal service, seeing the end product of her efforts and a satisfied customer!

Jerry Pelkey is Jung Tile’s Warehouse Manager and he works very closely with both the residential and the commercial sides of the business. Jerry has 28 years’ experience in the construction industry, and he’s been with Jung Tile team for 2 years. Jerry personally receives and inspects all materials upon arrival, and it’s Jerry who will load your materials as well. He keeps the warehouse in tip-top shape and keeps our grounds looking neat. Jerry’s our "go to" guy and he’s there to always lend a helping hand!

Sherri Unger is Jung Tile’s Office Manager. She’s been keeping the business running smoothly for 9 years, handling the financial aspects of both residential and commercial projects. Her knowledge of the business extends into the showroom and she enjoys an opportunity to work directly with our customers, be it answering questions or assisting with selections.

Anthony Rather is Jung Tile’s Commercial Estimator. He’s been with Jung Tile for 6 years now, and when he is not poring over a set of plans or out in the field visiting job sites, he might be found in the warehouse inspecting deliveries or loading materials for customers.

Nancy Tyron is the Commercial Project Manager for Jung Tile, having worked the first 3 of her 4 years here as a Showroom Consultant. Nancy’s very versatile in her knowledge! She’s now preparing bids and ordering commercial project materials, and she’s often the initial contact person for commercial jobs. Nancy manages commercial projects all over South Texas, from the Valley to San Antonio, Corpus Christi to Houston.

Shammie is Jung Tile’s Showroom Mascot, a friendly Manx cat who loves people and makes it his mission to welcome every customer with an enthusiastic "meow!"
